Target audience:

Children (primary school age) from financially less well-off families in our network. At the moment we have 15 children who have registered and 7 who come now and then, We intend to reach out to more children through our children's school, after-school care, Jeugd haven 't Anker and our personal network. We want to reach a total of 25 children yearly.

The children we have contact with come from different social classes with different family situations, but with a common interest to improve their lives and make a positive contribution to their families and communities. This colorful combination has made the rich exchange of ideas and experiences possible and has also opened the way for emotional healing of many of these young people. These children need a place where they can share their problems and not feel judged, condemned or ashamed, and this is the safe environment that we now want to create for them.

Objective of the Kids Club:

1. To create a safe place for children in which they can be themselves and can go with their story, their worries and problems.
2. A place skills can be learnt and competences can be improved.
3. To provide a place where children are positively and playfully encouraged to learn new things (music, language, sports).
4. To enhance self-confidence, self-esteem and ambition of the children through effective motivational training and coaching.
